An opportunity with the Be Free Campaign can involve anything from research to teaching to live music events! The beauty of campaigning for mental health is the sheer scope of what is possible in regards to raising awareness, fundraising and engaging people in the conversation around mental health. The charity is split across the following teams:

  • Outreachgetting involved in the delivery of our mental health programs for young people in schools and community centres
  • Publications- to date, we have three published works along with further projects in the pipeline that all need contributors!
  • Community Impactwe are growing our community impact team to help co-ordinate wellbeing events (painting, therapy dogs, crafts etc.) to get the general public engaged in discussions around mental wellbeing
  • Fundraising- like any charity, fundraising is key to the continuation of our work in schools and community centres. Being a part of the fundraising team at Be Free is a valuable opportunity for anyone looking to work in the Third sector and getting involved in professional fundraising.
  • Eventsour events team ensures that our identity as a charity also lies within the arts, with multiple venue partnerships we run live music events, art shows and craft fairs to raise money to continue our work while championing local artists. Being part of this team would involve helping organise and run these events.

This is not an exhaustive list, we welcome any passion, hobby or interest to help further our work!
