Pool tables to take card payments

The pool tables can only be used when you insert a pound coin. Most people do not carry cash on them, especially as the Guild still encourages card payments. When you do have a coin, the table may not accept them. It's an unnecessary annoyance for staff who are on shift with tills to give out change. It's easier for everyone if the tables accept card payments.

We are currently working on this proposal, and are in talks with our pool table suppliers to trial this in the Guild. We will update accordingly with further progress.
One of the old pool tables in the Courtyard has now been replaced with a new one that accepts card payments. This is hoped to make the tables more accessible for students wishing to use them.
