Make crown place laundromats cheaper . it is too expendive for a cycle every week. if they can't reduce the price then provide free washing tablets .

This idea went to Guild Summit, where our members decided to support the idea, deciding that the Guild should lobby the university on the issue of laundry, looking at making it cheaper, better quality and more accessible. Our Guild President, Adnan Hussain, is leading on taking this idea forward, if you have any specific questions about this you can email Adnan: pres@liverpool.ac.uk
Following the Guild Summit at which this idea was discussed in October 2019, former President Adnan Hussain took this forward, looking to make laundry in halls cheaper, better quality and more accessible. The University Halls Management team were initially contacted in February 2020 and subsequently since then, to inquire about the time remaining on the University’s contract with Circuit Laundry, and in what way the University benefit from said contract. Despite being contacted on numerous occasions, a response addressing these concerns was never received.
The current officer team are continuing to work on reducing the cost of living for students, through campaigning for cheaper rent. As part of this, they will continue to lobby the University for cheaper and more accessible laundry services in all halls of residence.
