Competition Season 2022!
What an amazing competition season we had this year! Our first one back in 2 years and our dancers did outstandingly!
We started off the season in Newcastle where the results were as followed:
Advanced Street- 1st Place
Intermediate Street- 1st Place
Advanced Tap- 2nd Place
Wildcard- 1st Place
Advanced Jazz- 3rd Place
Advanced Contemporary- 1st Place
Our very own Joy also won 1st place in the improvisation category and best overall female dancer!
We rounded up the day with best overall university! What an achievement!
Our next location was Manchester University where we received:
Advanced Tap- 3rd Place
Advanced Jazz- 1st Place
Wildcard- 1st Place
The talent at this competition was incredible and we were so proud of the performances our dancers put out!
We finished our season hosting our very own comp here in Liverpool, a big shout out to Sophie and Daisy (our comp co-ordinators) for organising such a fantastic day! We thoroughly enjoyed welcoming the others unis and everyone was so impressive! We took home some amazing trophies including:
Advanced Ballet- 3rd Place
Advanced Contemporary- 1st Place
Advanced Tap- 1st Place
Advanced Jazz- 2nd Place
Wilcard- 1st Place
Intermediate Street- 3rd Place
Advanced Street- 3rd Place
We also had two soloists Daisy and Liv who danced beautifully and did us so proud!

We also won Best Team Spirit of the day! Scouse In The House Say What!!!
Overall this season has been more than we could have wished for and we had an amazing time! Thank you to all of our dancers for all of your effort, to the committee for all of your hard work to making this the best it could be, to our judges for taking time out of your day to come to our comp and to all the Guild staff who helped run the day!
We hope we can do just as incredibly next year and look forward to the peroformances we will produce!
