University of Liverpool Dance Society have had an extremely successful comp season and we want to tell you all about it!

On 17th February, our squaddies travelled to Manchester for the UoM Comp at Event City. The day was full of high quality performances and so much fun was had- from the 5am start to the end of the social at 11pm! Our contemporary squad were lucky enough to come away with 1st place in the Advanced category. This was only the beginning of what was to be a fantastic comp season.

The following weekend, we hosted our own competition at Invisible Wind Factory. This was great for both our society and the University- with over 10 unis competing! The universities competing included: Liverpool, Manchester, UEA, Staffordshire, Edge Hill, Oxford Brookes and many more...

Our competition was just as successful, the results were as follows:  

3rd Advanced Ballet

3rd Advanced Jazz

2nd Advanced Tap

1st Advanced Contemporary (AGAIN)

1st Wildcard (Molly Roberts' AMAZING solo)

Sadly, due to unforeseen weather circumstances, our final comp in Sheffield on 3rd March- was cancelled. However, we will be performing our comp dances at Summer Showcase 25th and 26th April.

We would like to take this opportunity to thank ALL of our squaddies and members who have danced and supported us throughout comp season. BRING ON NEXT YEAR!
