Strength (Week 14)

Hey Yogis!

This week’s theme is strength. A lot of people underestimate the strengthening power of yoga! Its chilled-out nature can sometimes make us forget that it is exercise and is actually a great builder of both flexibility and strength. This works for our minds too, not just our bodies, as yoga can help us to adapt and to work through challenging situations by staying open minded and grounded. 

We’ve put together a playlist of classes that focus on this strength aspect of yoga. These aren’t intense workout videos so don’t panic! They often just feature longer holds in poses to build muscles more, as well as everyone’s favourite - core work! 

Hopefully you enjoy these classes and tune into your body’s (and mind’s) natural strength. Working on this and seeing your progress over time is one of the most rewarding aspects of yoga, but you have to start somewhere! Believe in yourself and see what you can do:)
