Hey Yogis!
Exam season is here!
This can be a stressful time for us all, so it’s especially important now that we find time to relax and unwind. This can help you to let go of any uni-related stress and regather your energy so you can focus again when you need to.
Yoga is perfect for these situations as it helps us slow down, breathe and move in ways that feel good. This last point is particularly important if you’re spending all day inside hunched over a laptop. Even just 5 minutes of yoga can help you forget about work and check in with yourself and your stress levels. This matters because being stressed is not good for your health—both mental and physical—so taking time to relax is actually really productive so you should never feel guilty for doing so!
Here are 10 ideas for things you can do to relax:
1. Yoga (check out our playlist below)
2. Meditation or breathing exercises (try Headspace, or YouTube)
3. Journal your thoughts
4. Listen to your favourite playlists
5. Call a friend (talking is therapy!)
6. Light some candles, or burn incense
7. Watch comedy movies/TV (laughter is so good for de-stressing)
8. Read a book
9. Switch your phone off (this can be a big source of stress!)
10. Go for a walk
We hope you find this helpful and we want to wish you all the best of luck with your assignments and exams!
