Kindness (Week 9)

Hey Yogis!

Being kind can be anything from tiny gestures to a general approach to life, but whatever size and shape it comes in, it’s a really beautiful thing which we should all try to find more of. 
A little bit of kindness can go a long way to restore someone’s faith in humanity, and you never know when someone may really be needing that! A gesture as simple as a smile to a stranger can remind someone that they are not alone in this world and that others have care and concern for them, after all we’re a social and caring species. If you can see someone is struggling with something, be kind and offer your help, or just a listening ear. 
Most importantly, don’t forget that you also must be kind to yourself. Nobody is perfect, we’re all bound to make mistakes, so show yourself kindness when you do so! Forgive yourself for past mistakes and see what you can learn from it to become a better person. And don’t forget to celebrate your successes along the way too, it’s just as important to notice when things are going right as when things are going wrong!
