Hey Yogis 

This time of the year can often feel a little bit mad. Amongst starting to get ready for Christmas and being bombarded with Black Friday advertising it can be easy to lose yourself in the craziness. Especially when adding that to the dreaded deadline stress of the end of term. That’s why this week we’re focusing on finding a little calm. 
The importance of slowing down and checking in with yourself really heightens at times like these and it’s the best way to keep yourself grounded and prevent a burnout.  As people start to go home this week, see if you can take a little time to reflect on this term in Liverpool. Even though it’s been a weird one, there are hopefully some good memories and beautiful moments you can pick out to be grateful for. 
Finding a sense of calm may seem like a struggle right now, so we’ve created a YouTube playlist of yoga and meditation classes to help you with that. Even if you can take just 10 minutes to roll out your mat, I can almost guarantee you’ll feel much more calm when you step off it. Focus on your breath and find movement that feels good for your body in that moment, and you might just find you’re able to slow down and melt any stress away.
