Amnesty International Society aims to raise awareness of human rights abuses and achieve justice for both victims and survivors. As we work directly with the Amnesty International charity, we are able to campaign and raise awareness through lobbying government officials, signing petitions, hosting events to raise awareness and/or money for a cause, collaborating with other societies and local interest groups, and inviting in speakers.
For this semester we will be meeting every other Thursday, at The Guild Building at 7:30PM. Further details about our meetings will be sent out via email and posted on our Instagram page (@livuniamnesty).
