Liverpool Guild is supporting World Mental Health Day on Monday 10th October.
Come along and chat to us in the Guild Street from 12-2pm on Monday 10th October - we’ll be there with our Mindapples tree asking you to contribute the five things that you’ll do regularly to protect your mental wellbeing. We'll also have a special Calm Room with colouring books. This might be a long, hot bath to relax, going for a walk to clear your head, or simply making time for a good cup of tea and a chat with a friend.
There are also lots of events going on around the city from 1st – 16th October for Liverpool’s first Mental Health Festival. Take a look to see what’s on.
If you are struggling or are concerned about your mental health remember that the University is here to support you. You can find information about the counselling service, including some relaxation podcasts, on the University website:

Vice President of the Guild Yasmin, said: “It's really important we raise awareness about the importance of mental health. It’s been a taboo subject for too long and people with mental health issues often feel marginalised so feel unable to seek help. No one should ever feel ashamed to talk about mental health – it’s just as important as physical health, and this is why we’re marking World Mental Health Day.”
The Guild’s Nightline Service is also here for you; we are open from 8pm until 8am every night during term time if you need to talk.
