We are on the lookout for volunteers to help us with our Nightline service.

Nightline is a support and listening service run by students, for students. We have a small group of fully trained volunteers who are on hand throughout the night during term-time to give support to students who need it.

As well as listening, our Nightline operators provide general information such as bus timetables or numbers for taxis. Nightline can also give contact information for anything to do with student life like University department numbers.

This is a brilliant opportunity to help your fellow students and learn lots of new skills.

We've got an information session on Friday 30 September in the Gilmour Room (opposite the Guild Reception) from 12-1pm.

If you are interested in supporting others, are empathetic and have great communication skills – this is just the role for you! This is open to all current University of Liverpool students who can speak English fluently.

In order to be a Nightline Volunteer you must be able to attend all of the following training sessions:

Wednesday 12th October              2-5pm
Wednesday 19th October              2-5pm
Wednesday 26th October              2-5pm
Wednesday 2nd November            2-5pm
Saturday 5th November                10am-4pm
Sunday 6th November                  10am-4pm
