A wellbeing group has been set up to help students who need extra support.
RETHINK Liverpool Students wellbeing group, created by students and Vice-President Alex Ferguson, offers a secure, confidential space for all students who are experiencing mental health problems and/or need someone to talk through their issues with.
RETHINK is a charity founded in 1972 with the objective of changing people’s perceptions of mental illnesses such as schizophrenia and bipolar disorder, and helping people with those conditions live a better quality of life.
The sessions run every Wednesday from 5:30pm until 6:30pm in the James E. Brown room. All students are welcome to come along and make use of the service.
Volunteer with RETHINK
If you care about mental health, you can volunteer to support the work of the group. You can find out more about the support group here or email the facilitators: liverpoolunigroup@rethink.org.
