We’ve got a brilliant live music line-up for you over the coming months. No matter what your musical tastes there’s something for everyone.
Our Mountford Hall is the second largest live venue in Liverpool and in the last year we’ve hosted The 1975 and Stereophonics to name but two. The 1975 gig was so popular it made The Echo!
First up we’ve got Britain’s best-loved punk poet Dr John Cooper Clarke on Saturday 11 June. Check out this great interview he did last year with GQ magazine.
On Saturday 16 July Father John Misty (former Fleet Foxes drummer) will be showcasing music from last years’ acclaimed album I Love You, Honeybear. Find out why The Independent recently gave his show five stars.
Looking ahead to the new term, the sublime Nottingham duo Sleaford Mods are coming to the Mountford on Friday 28 October. Don’t just take our word for it – The Guardian love them too!
We’re really excited to welcome the BBC Sound of 2016 Jack Garratt who is playing the Guild on Saturday 12 November. We’re so excited, we did an article just about Jack!
And rounding off our eclectic line-up on Saturday 26 November are Soul II Soul who will be playing hits from their impressive back catalogue spanning four decades! You know a group are important when they have their own BBC music page – take a look here.
All of these shows will be held in Liverpool Guild of Students, Mountford Hall - doors open at 7pm for all shows.
