We’re really excited to announce our line-up for this terms’ Education for Sustainable Development lecture series.

After the huge success last year, the series is back and bigger than ever!

First up we’ve got “Fighting for the right for green space” with Ian Mell on Wednesday 12 October from 5.30pm – book your place now.

All of the lectures will be held in the Elizabeth Gidney suite and are completely free.

Vice President of the Guild Ananda Mohan, said: “This lecture series is ideal for anyone with an interest in economics, sustainability or for someone just interested in learning about something new. We’ve got a terrific range of speakers on offer over the course of the term and it’s all totally free. It’s also a great chance to meet like-minded people and share your own thoughts about these important global matters.”

Wed 26 Oct: “How far should governments regulate food and alcohol industries to promote healthier and more sustainable socieites?”

Wed 16 Nov: “Climate Change and coverage by the media” by Dr Neil Gavin
